With FlipKart - #AbHarWishHogiPoori

Have a look at the video - shows the boundless joy wishes bring.

There are times when our creative side itches to do something extra-ordinary. This year, on my marriage anniversary, I took the mammoth task of baking a black forest cake from scratch. Well, for someone who doesn’t have the necessary tools, baking and decorating a cake is not easy at all. Even without the tools, I somehow managed; but when I wanted to click a picture, I realized I don’t have a good camera ( look at the grainy picture I captured with my iPad). Then and there, I made a mental note of buying a few things to polish my baking skills - a good microwave, decorating tools and not to forget, a DSLR camera (read more about it on Uma's blog) to indulge in food photography.

Two things to mark the day - wedding anniversary and making black forest cake from scratch. For you, Alok <3

With those wishes in my mind, I began searching for a microwave. And I found IFB Convection Microwave Oven on FlipKart as best suited for my needs. When I baked the cake on my anniversary, it unleashed my culinary desires. Now, I want to try my hands at more dishes - bake cookies, grill fancy starters and make jams in an instant. Oh yes, you can make delicious apple jam in microwave in less than 10 minutes. Sounds tempting, right? And this is just a tiny start, my big dream is to learn at least 50 new recipes for high tea and dinner parties I host at my place. Who doesn’t want to impress their guests with fancy line-up at the dining table?
When I took the 30 day breakfast challenge last year, I not only learned new recipes, but also discovered better ways to cooking some traditional ones. It’s no secret that idlis and dhoklas are cooked faster in microwave and tastes just the same. Rice cooks better in microwave and instant coffee lathers better in it. With better equipment in our kitchen, we can cook faster and there is less mess. I simply love the ‘cook and serve bowls’ microwaves have introduced in our lifestyle. In fact, I've a secret board of Pinterest where I collect recipes which I want to try my hands at. It's an eclectic mix of starters, main course and quick-and-easy baking items. With a convection microwave, I am sure I will learn and savor all those tasty dishes. I will start by baking instant Chocolate Chip Brownie for evening tea and fulfill my long desire of mastering the art of baking, one step at a time.

And, one more thing which I have always wished to master is to learn various types of canapés. Last month, when I invited my friend for lunch, I wanted to make Pizza Tarts for starters, but couldn't do so. I really felt the need to have a convection oven that could just make things easy. You see, to fulfill some wishes we do need proper tools and a genie which can give you access to those tools, like Flipkart - a place where all your wishes are fulfilled at a reasonable price.
