A Journey Within

Like a wanderer on a smoky road,
My soul was filled with doubt.
Loaded with complex emotions,
I searched for my whereabouts.
Carrying piles of concrete and debris of past,
I traveled across boundaries of relations.
Puzzled with almost everything,
Couldn't find the translations.
Read, heard, applied all theories,
Some worked, some failed.
Life was like a broken ship,
Which somehow sailed.
Battling across shores, I met life,
Simple, gentle and carrying a promise to begin.
Forget curses and mistakes; hold future,
And, search for happiness within.

  3. I like the positivity that emanates from every line that you have written. I quite like the idea that you have put forth- that happiness lies within. And from that we can infer that, all the way through ( while we were suffering ), the power to be happy was with us and no one else. Its an amazing idea that you have talked about, really !

As for meeting life... I would have to differ with you. But that again is my personal orientation and not a universal theory as such. For me, journey itself is the destination :)

Lovely work Saru ! Keep it up .

  7. Everybody endures this journey, but only some find the ultimate happiness.

"I traveled across boundaries of relations.
    Puzzled with almost everything"

Realtions defined as boundaries, yes they sometimes can be stifling. But one can over come them, by just travelling and travelling. The only one who can help in the end is you. Look within. Perfect Saru. The metaphors here are very deep very deep.

  50. "Life was like a broken ship, Which somehow sailed." - Its just so hard to sail in a perfect boat. The most you can do is to repair and keep sailing, hoping that the next storm will not cause a major break down or damage.
