Happiness is a State of Mind

It rained a lot when I wanted sunshine, I was so messed up but I said I was fine. It takes two to tango but one to leave it behind, Happiness, they say , is a state of mind. I cried a lot, then wiped tears with a smile, I complained, I cursed, but only for a while. To all my sorrows, I always leave you behind, Because I know , happiness is a state of mind. I faced a storm, what can wind do to me? I worked my way up, from nobody to somebody. I collect happy moments like I am a child, I learnt through misery , happiness is a state of mind. There are always many slips between cup and my lips, I care less for 'things', more for my relationships. It's not that complex, it's not a struggle to find, Happiness, for sure , is a state of mind. You pick a card, toss it or keep, It's up to you, which side you want to heap. No one will build it for you, it's not even destined, Work a little , happiness is just a state of mi

Love Never Dies

Clear all the foliage on the path,  H e forgets where I rest. He walks on familiar roads,  The ones marked with my address. You cover it with dried leaves,  D ried memories and drowned hope. Don't blame him, if he can't trace, P ath leading to my dusty abode. Once a year he comes soaked in tears,  Blaming me, cursing for I betrayed. Renders the same soliloquy,  S ame for the last one decade. It's October again,  H e will rub off layers of dust. Whisper few memories on the grave of lady,  H e once dearly loved. Eons from now, we shall be again,  S ame couple with starry eyes. I am dead, he will die,  B ut love, love never dies . The lump in his throat, his heavy heart,  M y stony grave moans for him.
