Trachled Shoe


Only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches but a poor man's shoe knows his owner's plight better. This poem talks about how a worn-out and exhausted shoe sympathizes with its owner.

    loved the context Saru.. It had seen all the misery
    it has been there with him all the time. It is aware of the plight and feeling so sad about not so bright future.

    This reminded me of an old piece, "Phate joote ki kahaani" that I wrote in class 7 for the Children's magazine Gokulam. It never got pubished but I still treasure it for that was one of my very first fictional pieces.
